Post Surgery – Day 8

It has now been a week since I had my surgery. I have a slow running diarrhea, which is tolerable, but because of the surgery and probably the pain killers, I can not feel the difference between if I have to pass gas or stool. That is really a balance act with some skid marks in my underwear as a consequence :(.

I have done some experiments with using Tylenol instead of Percocet, but is just not the same. I think that switch has to come later. My Percocet’s contains a mix of 5 mg of Oxycodone, and 325mg of acetaminophen. When I am not on the, I am running a low fewer (100.4 f), and am in general feeling very uncomfortable. When on them, the fewer is gone, and I feel like a pretty normal 15 year older version of my self.

After a long, very slow walk, in the city, we went to Kokkari Estiatorio for lunch. Both Trine and I love this restaurant, and it is also topping the list on Zagat.com

When you like I often feel queasy and not really in the mood to eat, a restaurant like Kokkari is awesome. You simply can not resist their delicious appetizers and entrees. We ordered Tzatziki, Greek Salad, Calamari, and taramosalata for appetizers, and a Chicken, and a Lamb Souvlaki for Entrees.

It was a wonderful feast, and we also got plenty of good to take home. (yes, that was part of the plan).

The rest of the day was more or less spend in bed, watching TV. My wounds are healing as they should and have so far been dry, with no sign of infection.
